Come and Join us for this 25 hour (Yoga Alliance USA Accredited for Continuing Education Hours) Yoga Teacher Training where you will learn about menstrual cycle awareness (MCA) through each cycle and how you can create a restorative yoga practice to both teach and support your own changes during each month of your menstrual cycle.

As women and menstruators we are blessed with the ability to bring children into the world if we choose to do so. We will have many opportunities to do this during our lifetime. When we are not bringing children through our bodies and beings we will bleed during the fertile time of our life. This is a very special time with unique moments as we move through our cycles from menstruation to pre ovulation to ovulation to pre menstruum and back to menstruation again. The menstrual cycle is a vital sign into our over health and often over looked as an indication into a women’s wellbeing. Learning when you are feeling more focused, energised, patient, fertile, strong is of huge benefit to the sports player, teacher or mother. When you learn how to support yourself through the wobbles of your cycle you can prevent and soothe burnout, anxiety or feelings of disparity.

Our monthly cycle is made up of various phases. Four inner seasons. Each one of these phases has a particular focus and we explore how we can be supported differently in each phase through Restorative Yoga and MCA with the understanding of our individual needs through our cycles.

In this RYTT we will begin to understand each phase, what it entails, what kind of support we need in each phase of this sacred cycle.

You will receive information about:

  • The function of the organs
  • The nervous system
  • The endocrine system
  • The emotions
  • The female reproductive system
  • Restorative yoga poses that support each part of your menstrual cycle
  • Menstrual cycle awareness (MCA)
  • How to teach them to your students to support them during their menstrual cycle
  • How to emotionally support your students through their cycle
  • Mudras
  • Kuan Yin

You will be supported by:

Weekly live zoom calls with Kitty and Sue
Mondays from ​12:30 – 3:30am East Coast Time, 6:30 – 9:30pm Dublin Time, 7:30 – 10:30pm Madrid Time

March 15th through April 26th, 2021

The Easter week will not have a Monday class, but practice teaching is required during that week with your classmates
